Students’ Achievement

MSG(NCC) Amirun Zaqy bin Muhammad Fazeli receiving the Outstanding Cadet Award from Commandant NCC LTC Ong Siong Beng. The NCC Outstanding Cadet Award (OCA) is the highest award attainable by our Secondary 4 Senior Cadet Leaders. It recognises these Cadets for their leadership skills and contribution to their units.

Activities & Competitions

As part of the Secondary One Affirmation Ceremony at NCC HQ, cadets had the opportunity to have a close look and handle various types of weapons from the army.

Cadets engaged in an indoor air rifle shoot in preparation for their Live Range shooting using the SAR-21 rifle next year.

Cadets playing the Guardians of the City card game to develop a deeper understanding of Singapore’s security threats and the part we play in keeping Singapore safe and secure.

Cadets taking part in the inter-school NCC Sports Championship, where they engaged in friendly competition with cadets from other schools.

Competitions

The Red Cross Youth HQ hosts annual competitions to enhance cadets' skills in first aid, disaster management, and leadership.

Cadet receives an award after delivering a compelling presentation advocating for blood donation.

Activities

Annual Unit Camp

The annual camp aims to build relationship and foster stronger bonds among cadets through team bonding games. Cadets also participated in First Aid Training to prepare for the upcoming First Aid Championship. Organized by the incoming Secondary Three leaders, the camp served as a valuable opportunity for these leaders to develop their leadership skills and enhance collaboration with both peers and juniors.

Cadet-Link Activity

We collaborated with the Red Cross Links at Frontier Primary School, providing our cadets with a valuable opportunity to share their first aid and foot drill expertise with the younger Links, fostering skills and mentorship across age groups.

Blood Donor Recruitment Drive @ Westgate Mall

Each year, our unit collaborates with the JWSS Student Ambassadors on a blood donation drive, encouraging the public to donate by highlighting the vital importance of blood donation and dispelling common myths surrounding it.

Standard First Aid Course

The Standard First Aid Course is held for our Secondary Two cadets every year as part of their badge work.

Speech Day and National Day Parade

Every year, our cadets join other Uniformed Groups in the Speech Day and National Day Parade. Though the training is demanding, it instills resilience, grit, and discipline, shaping them into determined and dedicated individuals.
