JWSS students participate in SG Secure Launch 2016

In line with the objectives of the SGSecure Movement 2016 to build Community Vigilance, Cohesion and Resilience, cadets from the JWSS National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) and National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC) shared their community project and reflections on national security at the movement’s official launch on 24 September 2016 at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Our cadets had the privilege of presenting their project and share their learning experiences with our Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong.

The cadets present were: LCP Ng Fu Ping and LCP Yeo Ying Jie from NPCC, LCP Nur Dhaniyah Bte Nooralam and SSG Mohamed Hazim Bin Mohamed Hashim from NCDCC.

As PM Lee explained in his address, “That is what SGSecure is about. It is about what each of us can do as an individual, it is about how each of us can play our part, to protect ourselves, and to protect those around us.”
